The West Point Bicentennial Engineering Design Contest is a nationwide comp
etition intended to promote math, science, and technology education in U.S.
elementary schools. The contest provides students with a realistic introduct
ion to engineering through an engaging, hands-on design experience. All U.S.
 students in Grades K through 12 are eligible. Contestants may compete indiv
idually or in teams of two.

Upload your design to the contest website for automated judging.

Receive instant feedback on your standing in the contest.

Enter as many times as you like.

Prizes include cash scholarships of $15,000, $10,000, and $5,000 for the top
   three finishers. (Scholarships can be used at any school.)



Contest Schedule
Qualifying Round begins:
November 11, 2001

Final day for design submissions:
February 28, 2002

Semi-Final Round (Top 40 teams):
March 16, 2002

Final Round (Top six teams compete at West Point, New York):
