报告题目:
1.  ITS in Government Programs
This workshop will first present the recent advances of ITS in the United St
ates at the federal and state levels, including Emergency Response and Manag
ement, Transportation Operations and Maintenance, Transportation Security, a
nd Travel Management. It will then discuss the lessons learned and how usefu
l experiences can be applied for ITS deployment in China.
2.  Telematics Industry
The Telematics is becoming the focal point of the ITS industry. The workshop
 will review the most recent progress of Telematics and related wireless dat
a services and location based services. Subsequently, it will address how Ch
inese companies can benefit from the US Telematics technology development an
d develop its own version of Telematics.
3.  Traveler Information Services
Traveler information services have become an important linkage among governm
ent, the industry, and travelers. This workshop will review the state-of-art
 of traveler information services in the US. Specifically, it will address t
he new technology development, including 511, traffic prediction and forecas
t as well as personalized traveler information services.
