This is a junk if you can't put it into a handheld unit (an embedded
system).  A lot of people do it on PC's with Microsoft Windows OS's,
which is unrealistic for vehicles.

What is your wireless communication device? What is the operating
distance, data rate, and is it a multi-plexing device? How many
vehicles can you actually handle simultaneously? Can these vehicles
talk to each other during missions?

BTW:  I am currently working in the area of guidance, navigation and
control, which has a lot of things in common with you guys.
