■电影片断之十：在街市(Street Bazaar)与士兵对话
[出演时间，在第四大关“死亡之城”的后段。在“街市”（Street Bazaar）爬入一个
大车库，里面的地上躺着一个伤兵。]
    劳拉走近地上的伤兵。伤兵拔枪，劳拉用枪抵住他。
    劳拉：Put your gun away! Assisus sent me!
    [把枪拿开！是奥斯思司叫我来的！]
    伤兵： Help me, Englisher. I bleed to death. I tried to hide, but those 
things…smell the blood on me.
    [救救我，英国人！我的血流得太多，快不行了。我躲不过它们……它们能闻到我身
上的血腥味。]
    劳拉：I've come for the mine frequency. I need to get back to Assisus th
rough this rabbit warren with both my legs still intact.
    [我是来找探雷器的。我必须从这个地方出去，我不能炸断了双腿回奥斯思司那儿去
。]
    伤兵：I do a good job with the mines. Ahhh... Not that it does us any go
od. We are all dead or dying.
    [那些地雷可是我一个一个认真埋下去的。唉……可惜它们没派上一点用场！我们死
的死伤的伤……]
    伤兵掏出探雷器扔到地板上。
    劳拉：Where are the rest of you? I need those explosive codes!
    [还有的人都在哪里？我需要得到爆破密码！]
    伤兵：Sahida, my colleague lies across the roof bridge in the mosque. As
 we retreated, something new that we had not encountered before came from th
e shadows like lightning and took his head.
    [我的兄弟萨希达现在正躺在清真寺的天桥上。我们撤退的时候遭遇到了一些新的敌
手，它们的形状如同闪电，劈开了他的头颅……]
    劳拉：The codes? [那密码呢？]
    伤兵：Inside his head! Inside the creature!
    [密码在他的脑袋里！在那些怪物身体里！]
    劳拉：I need those codes! [我需要密码！]
    伤兵：Search his body. I don't know. Leave me for now for I am weak and 
wish to prepare myself for my God.
    [在他身上找嘛！我哪知道。你别烦我了，我已经受够了，让我安安静静去见上帝吧
……]
    拿到密码后重新回到城堡之门（Citadel Gate），劳拉将伤兵抱上摩托车。
    劳拉将伤兵带到卡车前面，将他抱下车。
    伤兵：You are a strong woman.
    [你是个了不起的女人。]
    劳拉：Lara! And you handled yourself pretty well - Sergeant! You've got 
the codes. What now?
    [我叫劳拉。你的表现也很不错，长官！现在你得到了密码，该怎么办呢？]
    士兵爬上军火车，把枪指向劳拉。
    伤兵：After all we have been through, this is merely insurance.
    [经历了这么多，我现在这么做不过是一点报答。]
    劳拉：Against what? [报答什么？]
    伤兵：Against you trying to stop me from doing my duty. Somebody needs t
o drive that truck in there.
    [报答你阻止我完成我的任务，可是总得有人把车开过去。]
    劳拉：Kamikaze.... [人肉炸弹……]
    伤兵：Whatever it takes for god and my country.
    [为了上帝或者为了我的祖国。]
    伤兵爬入卡车。
    伤兵：In the next life then, my friend.
    [下辈子再见吧，朋友！]
    劳拉藏身于柱子后面，士兵将卡车驶向恐龙。巨大的爆炸将劳拉震倒在地。恐龙被
炸成碎片，劳拉得以走进恐龙身后的地区。
