  Paradox 即“自相矛盾的话”或充满矛盾的人或事物“。而它作为一种
修辞格(figures of speech)，制一句话中包含两个逻辑上明显矛盾的概念，
而在 奶票 谬的表面下又散发着智慧的光芒。英语谚语中常常运用这一修辞
格。如：
        More haste, less speed.  （欲速则不达）
        He who hesitates is lost. （三思而后行）
    所以 Paradox 有”思想和语言的结晶“的美誉。现在让我们来细细品味
一些经典的隽语吧。
    1 The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last.    (Oscar Wilde)
        悬念是可怕的，但我又希望它继续下去。
    2 My only love sprung from my only hate.    (Shakespeare)
        我唯有的爱之源是我唯有的恨。
    3 When I don't have anything to worry about, I begin to worry
