   Mother-in-law has been staying with her daughter
whose husband is a clockmaker.She has been in residence
for over a month now, and the poor fellow is beginning
to come to the end of his patience.One day she is
looking at the clocks in his shop, and remarks that
a grandfather clock in the corner is not working.
    "yes,"says the craftsman,"it's just another old
case that won't go,and I can't get rid of it however
much I try."
