“Came about after we had recorded the Banghra version of 'All That 
She Wants,' when I was sitting by the piano at home in the summer of '92
 playing the chords to Fade To Gray. Billy Steinberg helped me finish 
the lyrics as he also did with three other tracks in the summer of '95.
 When we recorded it the always helpful Jeanette S. did backing covals 
and harmonies as she also did with many of the Stockholm tracks - 
great voice! The song is about growing up and being in the impossible 
gap when you;re too young for many things and too old for other things 
and you don't know what to do.”
