“Once we did some gigs in Israel. It was in springtime, and a magic 
night we were able ti go privately to Jerusalem, the city where 4 
religions mix, although Israel is in a state of war. We went to the 
old parts of the city. I am a Christian myself, but when I heard a man 
singing his evening prayers from a minaret, his song echoing in the 
night, the beauty made me feel peace on earth for a strange moment. My 
song is about how difficult meetings between people can be. It can be as
 complicated for two persons to meet on earth as it is when two 
spaceships dock in space... And Jerusalem, she was lying still, 
dangerous, but quite calm, as we went to Golgatha with all its history -
 and shops.”
